Founding Partner

Alyson Shute Evett is a founding member of ONE Law. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on real estate disputes, commercial litigation, and corporate and business law. She also represents clients in select criminal matters.

Alyson is an accomplished trial attorney with extensive courtroom experience and a proven record of success. Before entering private practice, she served as a Deputy District Attorney for Colorado's First Judicial District, where she prosecuted a broad range of criminal cases from traffic offenses and misdemeanors to the most serious felony matters, including first-degree murder. During her tenure, she tried more than forty jury trials and resolved countless additional cases through strategic negotiation, developing the courtroom skills and judgment that continue to benefit her clients today.

Throughout her legal career, Alyson has tried more than sixty cases. Her substantial trial experience allows her to evaluate cases strategically, develop effective litigation plans, and advocate confidently in high-stakes disputes. Whether negotiating a favorable resolution or presenting a case to a jury, she is known for her thorough preparation, persuasive advocacy, and unwavering commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.

In addition to her private practice, Alyson serves as a part-time Relief Judge for the Lakewood Municipal Court. Her experience on the bench provides valuable insight into judicial decision-making and courtroom procedure, giving her a unique perspective that enhances her effectiveness as both an advocate and counselor.

Originally from San Diego, California, Alyson earned her bachelor's degree in International Business from Biola University before moving to Colorado to pursue her legal career. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and taking advantage of Colorado's many outdoor activities.
